With my love for beautiful things, I have always had a passion for creating beautiful things, be it floral arrangements, interior decorations & functions. I joined the SA school of weddings in 2012 and realised how personal flower are and the expertise needed to create the perfect arrangement. This led me to take a sopecialised course in flower arranging & decor.
I am proud to see the companies growth, and I would love to see it recognised througout Africa. As an executive member of a childrens home and former NGO director, I realise the importance of skilling young people & helping them become self-reliant.
Katleho Kano Shoro

I was always informally involved in some aspects of the business, assisting my mom. Ilove how hapy it makes her & want to be a part of that. I came into managing events through my love for academia and the arts.I have coordinated various events as a project manager. As a researcher with a masters in social anthropology, I enjoy working with people & understanding their visions. It excites me to research themes and ideas clients have to get the best conceptual results. Details are important to me, with every event as well as working with dignity, humanity & creating & maintaining great working relationships with everyone who comes into contact with Lily-Leaf.

I completed a diploma in culinary arts, possess experience in kitchen & banqueting from the Indaba hotel, market caterers, Lycee La Castel & Glory. I have kitchen & management staff experience, production pre-prep & a la carte catering. The highlight of my career as an entrepreneur is catering for the BRADAS secret dinner event in 2016 & 2017. I cureently provide catering services to small-to-medium private functions.

I joined Lily-Leaf in 2019 as an artist & event organiser. I am interested in exploring the organisation of various events. We plan accordingly before very event, and this gives me an opportunity to learn.

As a budding photographer, events give me a chance to improve my skill & network. Events also give me a chance to add to my visual portfolio as well as Lily-Leaf’s. I possess experience, working with; MTN, Pro vixen modelling, my magazine as well as SlikourOnLife class of 2017.

I joined Lily-Leaf in 2018, in that time i have grown so much and really enjoy working here due to the good working relationships and see myself growing with the company. I assist to oversee that the decor is done correctly and timeously as that is the first thing clients focus on when entering a venue

I joined Lily-Leaf in 2016, at that time i knew nothing about function related activities. I was fascinated with their ability to transform events, big or small, into something beautiful & classy, which is why i accepted the opportunity to work here. I ensure all work is done professionally and timeously.

I studied fashion design and graduated in 2014. I studied further in wedding and planning & styling. I have experience as an intern working for an events company. Today im a fashion designer, wedding planner & florist.
Our Vision
At Lily-Leaf we aim to tailor every event to suit the client’s vision, budget and needs. With every event- from traditionally-themed weddings to corporate functions- we offer new ideas and style, pursue elegance and invest in details that transform simple events into exquisite experiences to be remembered for a lifetime.
We want to build an international brand that resonates particularly in Africa. We intend to use our platform to skill and mentor the youth, including those from local children’s homes, with basic entrepreneurial and creative skills.
Our Objectives
- Make all events authentic yet unique through research based on clients’ needs’.
- Our staff is well equipped to be an all- rounder as far as possible, so as to execute their work with professionalism.
- Treat every staff member whether blood related or not with respect and make them feel valued.
